I am particularly proud to introduce you to the ICMA world through the pages of this Website even if I realize that nothing can ever replace a real visit to our factories and the knowledge and experience of our team.
First of all I want to remember that ICMA enjoys a long and consolidated experience in the mechanical engineering industry that dates back to its foundation in 1945. At that time ICMA was manufacturing machines for the wood industry, production then combined with that of high precision machine tools where it served blue chip customers like Ferrari.
The production of plastics machinery begins in late sixties, a period in which the company became, in a few years and thanks to its solid mechanical background, a recognized and highly rated player.
Over time, specialization, machines design, attention to after-sales services and a flexible and professional approach have become the key milestones of the company's business model.
Today ICMA has developed the right size to serve a global and demanding clientele, also with the qualified support of a proven network of representatives which contributes to ICMA’s local presence and success. Additionally ICMA offers other key ingredients, starting from a people based and flexible approach to state-of-the art production platform, metallurgical, mechanical and process engineering capabilities and service offer. All these elements combined with more than 80 years of accumulated experience of engineering and machine production, make ICMA unique and the ideal partner to work with.
Over the years we have also decided to join some international certifications such as ISO 9001 for quality procedures and from 2014 HOSAS 18001 for health and safety.
To stress all our commitment to serve the market at best I also want to mention one of our most recent investments: the new and enhanced Development Center where several extrusion lines are installed to give customers the possibility to validate a wide range of formulation and products, even for initial projects that are strategic for a company.
